About

Eren Tahiroğlu

I'm a Mechanical Engineering student at Abdullah Gül University (AGÜ), Kayseri, with a focus on mechanical design, additive manufacturing, and structural simulation. I'm also pursuing a degree in Securities & Capital Markets through Anadolu University's Open Education program — a parallel track that makes me think differently about engineering: with a sharper eye on efficiency, cost justification, and system-level tradeoffs.

My hands-on work spans CAD-based design in SolidWorks, FDM prototyping with PLA, and finite element analysis for structural problems. I try to treat each project as a documented case study: what was the problem, what constraints existed, what decisions were made and why, and what the outcome was — not just the final artifact.

As Audit Board Chair of AGÜ Automotive Club, I oversee financial and operational audit processes for the organization. It's a role that rewards careful systems thinking and the discipline to ask whether a process is actually working, not just whether it exists on paper.

My longer-term interests point toward the intersection of mechanical engineering with nanotechnology and biological systems — areas where the design problems are genuinely hard and where additive manufacturing is beginning to open new possibilities. I don't know exactly where that leads yet, but I find it more interesting to follow real curiosity than to construct a career narrative around it prematurely.
